Vacuum Degassing Oven (VDO Touch)
The Vacuum Degassing Oven (VDO Touch) efficiently removes air bubbles formed during the oxidative aging of asphalt binders, ensuring precise testing in line with AASHTO R28, ASTM D6521, and EN 14769 standards. Building on the original ATS VDO, this updated model features an industrial touchscreen and enhanced software for a seamless user experience. Users can program vacuum duration, temperature, and soak times, and monitor operations remotely. The unit includes four 8-ounce containers, a specimen removal tool, and an optional system verification kit. With a bench-top design, the VDO Touch offers a temperature range up to 200°C with ±0.1°C accuracy, platinum RTD measurement, over-temperature protection, and a vacuum range of 6.6 KPa, all in a compact, 35.4 kg unit.
