TB30 ASTM D1838 Copper Corrosion of LPG
The TB30 bath is designed for testing the corrosiveness of liquefied petroleum gases on copper, in compliance with ASTM D1838, IP 411, and ISO 6251 standards. It maintains a precise temperature of 37.8°C ±0.02°C without requiring an external cooling circulator, with a built-in cooling coil for high ambient conditions. The stainless steel bath accommodates four LPG corrosion test cylinders upright and includes two cylinder-holding lids.
Temperature can be set from 0°C to 80°C in 0.01° increments, with a dual-decimal display. Safety features include CE compliance, a resettable thermostat, and a low-level float alarm. RS232 connectivity with Tamcom software enables temperature logging and control. Each corrosion test cylinder is pressure-tested and certified for reliability and leak-free performance.
