Reid Vapor Pressure Apparatus
The ASTM D 323 Reid Vapor Pressure Apparatus is designed to measure the vapor pressure of gasoline. It utilizes a floor-mounted water bath that can support three cylinders.
The apparatus is constructed with an enamel-finished steel case and a stainless steel water bath that features a drain cock. It also includes an electric stirrer with a stainless steel shaft. The thermoregulator, controlled by a microprocessor, ensures precise temperature control with an accuracy of ±0.1°C, ranging from ambient to 50°C. To prevent overheating and low water levels, the apparatus is equipped with a safety device and a stainless steel heater. It is CE marked and operates at 220V/50Hz, consuming 1000W of power. The dimensions of the apparatus are 500 x 300 x 850 mm, with a weight of 50 kg. An English manual is provided, and accessories and calibration tools can be purchased separately.
