The DR10 instrument revolutionizes the evaluation of aviation turbine fuels by providing a quantitative measurement of tube deposits. Unlike the subjective visual rating system, the DR10 uses interferometry (ITR) to accurately determine deposit thickness in nanometers. This compact instrument can be easily installed and operated, providing a comprehensive test report within 15 minutes.

The report includes a 3-D profile of deposit distribution, the Standard Spot value (mean deposit thickness of the thickest 2.5 mm² area), average and maximum deposit thickness values, and the calculated total deposit volume. This innovative method enhances the understanding of fuel performance and improves the characterization of jet fuels for users and suppliers.
