CMRV-5000 Mini-Rotary Viscometer

The CMRV-5000 is a compact and efficient viscometer that measures the yield stress and viscosity of driveline lubricants, as well as new and used automotive engine oils, over a temperature range of -5°C to -40°C. It meets the requirements of ASTM D4684, D3829, D6821, and D6896, and determines pumping viscosity in accordance with the latest SAE J300 specifications.

The CMRV-5000 features five viscometric cells machined to tight tolerances, allowing them to fit into the thermostatic aluminum block. These cells can be easily removed to facilitate sample handling and cleaning of both cells and rotors. The CMRV-5000 offers a new level of benchtop performance in a sleek, self-contained, thermoelectrically maintained system. No additional refrigeration units or heat exchangers are required.
