The ASTM D1384 Corrosion Test Apparatus for engine coolants features solid block heating, a touchscreen interface, and mass-flow controllers to ensure stable airflow despite pressure fluctuations. The system records and displays temperature and airflow data in real time.

Additional features include a water distributor, a sink for condenser cooling, and a fixture that securely holds condensers in place during the removal of sample containers. The apparatus operates from ambient temperature up to 160 °C, connects to a manifold, and runs on 220 V/50 Hz with a power consumption of 2000 W. The unit is CE marked and available in three- or six-place models, with dimensions and weight varying by model. An English user manual is included, and accessories for low-boiling applications are available upon request.
