AAP-6 Automatic Aniline Point Tester
The Automatic Aniline Point Tester AAP-6 is a versatile instrument designed to automatically determine the aniline point of various petroleum products, including dark or opaque samples like power generation fuels and marine diesel oils. It features a special infrared detector, enabling it to work with a wide range of samples.
The AAP-6’s measuring cell is removable for easy weighing of viscous or solid samples at room temperature. The cell can be cleaned without disassembly, enhancing safety and efficiency.
In response to safety concerns with aniline, the AAP-6 supports the new ISO 21493 test method, which uses p-Anisaldehyde instead of aniline, reducing risks. The instrument is designed to meet ISO 21493 standards, offering high repeatability and reliability.
Specifications include ASTM D611, ISO 2977, and ISO 21493 compatibility.
